I dont know if this was covered in the other one but its hard to see if we have any type of notifications...and honestly it goes for the friends list too...i forget to go and check to see if i have any pending requests...its easy to forget when there are no notifications..will there be a fix for this in the future? Thanks!

yes this was covered and is something im working on. Please bear with me as i know pretty much nothing about code and am learning on the fly as well as being epically busy lately. I am doing my best though.

Still think we should change the cyan color, interface, and background. When do you guys plan to discuss what suggestions will be fulfilled? If you haven't already. Or did you guys stop caring since Anu is making a new site for March? Which actually would be understandable. >_>

i know i have not stopped but i have been extremely busy and sick lately. therefore i have not had any time to work on anything. please be patient and i will hopefully get to it soon.

I was wondering how we are able to see if we have notifications of vm's? I didnt realize i had one and i just happened to look...it isnt the same as when we get private messages so am i missing something?

There are NO site notification's for vms. I am however unsure if we are notified by email.

It is possible although it may take a while to figure out what code accesses the points and how to modify that code. The only bad side would be that you would need to get an admin to run the shop because they need permissions to subtract and grant permissions to respective users depending on what they have bought.

Just chucking a few more ideas out there

An animated site banner. You could keep the existing images and the ones from the past and have something like a slideshow and put it together in either SWF to keep the quality or use something like photoshop to make it into a GIF.

A default avatar.
New members can often feel naked...

thanks for all of your ideas, game! i could try following that thread and messing around and seeing if i could get a shop going. it would be pretty cool if i could get it to work! a default avatar would be easy as pie, and i could put up an animated banner if i could get someone to make it. i fail with gimp.

speaking of which, if anyone wants to volunteer to make an animated banner, or even a non-animated custom banner, it would be very much appreciated! n.n

*throws pie in zan's face* unfortunately, you have to go through a fancy new rank process to give someone a custom title, and i don't see how you could just let the member change it. D: if you want a new title though, you could ask me or chia. but i don't see a way to get it to just let you do it yourself. T.T

I never even tried with a default avi...i hope things will work soon Vii...but what happens with this site once the real AW is back? i know this is a place to keep ppl together...but is all the extra work into it just a bit too much for a site that may not be in the future? Just asking
