In a clear PR misstep, a rep for the school district denied that Grey had even read at the school.
"We have several celebrities who read to our students each year," a rep told TMZ. "The actress you indicated was not present."
According to its Facebook page, Read Across America is "designed to promote literacy and instill a lifelong love of reading" using "individuals from the fields of entertainment, athletics, business and politics."
In the past few years, Grey has been making a switch to mainstream acting. She played herself in a guest appearance on "Entourage." She also had a role in the movie "The Girlfriend Experience."

what's the big deal? -.-' it's not like she was stripping naked and doing the electric slide in front of them, she was just reading them a story! XD
porn star or not, she just wanted to help out the community and do something for some children. why is it such a crime that she read a story to some kids? they're too young to know what porn is, much less get corrupted and turn into insane, drooling perverts or whatever the hell the soccer moms think will happen. this is just silly, it shouldn't even be news. and she's beautiful too, and i'm sure that because of that lots of the little girls will look up to her (you know, NOT knowing that she's a porn star... but seeing a pretty woman reading to them may make them interested in reading). little girls are simple - whenever they see a nice, pretty woman doing something, that makes that activity awesome!
