Gaaah! I am so uber angry right now.

I go and call up Sony about my now broken ps3 console, (which broke during and due to, one of their updates) and they say they will deactivate the system so I can use my account on my new one, but they cannot compensate me or even replace my now dead console because its "not their problem." Even though the update finished with no errors supposedly.

Well, after they did that, it locked me out of my current account, thus rendering it totally useless for 7 days.

This is after I had bought three new games on the PSN, and all they could do was issue a refund "request" for those games. They didn't even directly refund me, said it had to go through the billing department first.


This has got to be the worst consumer experience I have ever had with any company, anywhere.

Way for them to fuel my desire to change game companies after this generation, and keep people aware of their deceitfully delightful "updates'.

They did offer to fix my console...for a nice hefty fee of a hundred dollars, though.

Then they had the nerve to send me a "How did we do?" e-mail. Oh, they got an eye full alright.

Yeah. I know better than to expect their sympathy anymore. they really have become a shit company all about the cash. Time I learned to handle repairs and mods like that myself.

Doesn't stop me from wanting a Vita though, and until i see what they do next...This may be my last gen with a Sony home console early on. I might hop consoles for that.

that really sucks, ghal! lmao why do they have such horrible customer service? x.x maybe it's cuz that update killed OVER 9000 ps3's, and now they're flooded with complaints. not that it makes it okay to basically tell you that you're fucked and make you pay for their update of death....

*decides that a ps3 is definitely not a good choice, considers a wii some more*

No kidding! Well, i'm gonna go and buy a wii now. That and set up an event that has yet to be announced.
