I liked Blood-C and I knew going in to it that it nothing to do with Blood+. Should just enjoy it for what it is instead of thinking too much about it.

it goes with the series really. blood+ was supposed to be an extension of the movie, blood the last vampire. however that veered way off of the movie as well.

*sighs and looks for another anime* i don't really like this new one all that much... i was on episode 5, and i was pretty bored. it doesn't seem like the story has all that much depth to it... she just acts all cute and hyper during the day, runs around and kills monsters at night, and googly-eyes some boy. >.>'

I was put off at first, too Vii. It is a bit frustrating, too because most of the series you don't know what's going on and you start guessing who the bad guy is. I started to like that, though.
At least it's finished and you don't have to wait a week to figure out wtf is going on.
I ended up really liking it once I let go of my expectations.
Like Chia said, it's a spinoff of Blood, but it's also done by CLAMP, who likes to link all their series.
If you have ever seen XxxHolic, Tsubasa Chronicles or Card Captor Sakura, you will see similar characters in each.

If you forget about Blood-C, this anime is pretty good.
